Rent A Domain
Renting a domain is a great way to see if it works for you, before going ahead and buying the name outright. During the rental period, you are free to do what you like with the domain (nothing illegal etc). When you start renting a domain, we will stop marketing that domain.
If you would like to rent a domain name, the cost is £75 per 6 months, or £125 a year. We will change the nameservers over to your hosting (assistance is available with this, and its not as technical as it sounds), and keep it that way for as long as the rental period. This gives you full control of the website, emails etc, and if at a later date you decide to purchase the domain, you can. How Do I buy A Domain Name?
We try to make the process of buying a domain name as simple as possible, that is why we can offer to do most of the work for you, if required. Within 24 hours of receiving payment, we will begin the process of transferring the domain over to you. We ask that you allow 3 working days for this to happen, but it can sometimes take a bit longer.
If you already have your own TAG – We will change the TAG on the domain, within 24 hours of cleared payment.
If you already own other domains – We can assist with getting the domain transferred to your account, at your current host, so all your domains are in one place.
If you don’t know what to do, and would like us to do it all for you – That is no problem at all. For a small additional fee, we can transfer the domain to your ownership, and get you set up with a simple hosting package, so your site can be online asap.
For all .co.uk domains, there is a fee that needs to be paid to Nominet. Nominet are the people who administer all .uk domains. This fee is included in the sale price of any domains.
